As our paths cut across landscapes, moments pass before our eyes. We might call it the speed at which life passes through the spaces of our past and future lives. We move at an immeasurable speed. And equally immeasurable is the speed with which the creatures and images of the world pass across our field of vision: the companions and spaces we leave behind disappear in meticulous blocks. We are moving away on a fast trajectory. From the distant, shared past as much as from the personal near. Our path is a broken, broken, straight-line trajectory: from the beginning to the end. Beyond the end, we hope and believe, it will continue in a new beginning.
